With all hope seemingly lost, Madrid’s substitute striker Joselu turned the tie on its head after scoring two goals in the space of three minutes. This time, VAR could not be used to check the incredibly tight decision because the referee had blown his whistle. “It almost feels like a betrayal because of that decision,” Tuchel told TNT Sports after the match. From fan to heroAfter the full-time whistle, Madrid celebrated in style as it crowned Joselu the club’s new hero. As a forward, you dream of scoring goals, and if they’re like tonight’s, then even better,” Joselu said after the match.

At Vinco, Farnsworth employed several of the same tactics that he had at MoviePass and at his earlier ventures. "Ted took these press releases and really treated them like they were works of art for him," Matt Argall, a former advisor to Farnsworth, told BI. Hudson Bay has not been served the lawsuit as of the publication of this story. "Hudson Bay's investment in Vinco Ventures was a standard, fixed price convertible loan of which millions remain unpaid," Hudson Bay told BI in a statement. "If served, Hudson Bay will seek to have these baseless, factually flawed and frivolous claims, which have been repeatedly dismissed in other proceedings against other parties, dismissed expeditiously."

CNN —Bayer Leverkusen took an almighty step towards winning its first Bundesliga title after producing a stunning comeback victory on Saturday, before title rival Bayern Munich lost during an eventful day in the German top-flight. Leverkusen scored two late goals to beat Hoffenheim 2-1 and maintain its unbeaten record in the league. Later that day, Bayern Munich produced a disappointing display in a 2-0 loss to fierce rival Borussia Dortmund. However, as it has done on many occasions this season, Leverkusen struck late and equalized in the 88th minute through Robert Andrich. Bayern Munich now sits 13 points off the top of the table, with seven games remaining.

CNN —The Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is always entertaining, but few games in the history of the competition can stand up to Cameroon’s 3-2 win against Gambia on Tuesday. “The match, like all of AFCON, is insane,” he added in a separate post. The first goal didn’t come until the 56th minute though, when Cameroon striker Karl Toko Ekambi headed his country in front. Gambia looked to have stunned the five-time AFCON champion but couldn't hold on in the frantic affair. CNN —Egypt reached the Africa Cup of Nations knockout stages thanks to a 2-2 draw against Cape Verde in a stunning finale to Group B, as Ghana threw away a 2-0 lead to move to the brink of an early tournament exit. Going into the final round of matches, Cape Verde had already secured top spot but Egypt, Ghana and Mozambique all had a chance of reaching the last 16. Their disappointment, however, would be short lived and they were quickly informed that Ghana had squandered its 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Mozambique in the 91st and 94th minute. Relief will certainly be the overriding emotion for an Egypt team that has struggled to make much of an impression at the tournament so far. Ghana blew a 2-0 lead in injury time to move to the brink of elimination from AFCON.

Nov 11 (Reuters) - Arsenal beat struggling Burnley 3-1 to move level on points with leaders Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table on Saturday after Tottenham Hotspur slipped to a last-gasp loss at Wolverhampton Wanderers. Leandro Trossard, William Saliba and Oleksandr Zinchenko scored in Arsenal's victory which lifted them above Spurs to second in the table, level on 29 points with Manchester City, who have a game in hand. Arsenal's afternoon was slightly soured by substitute Fabio Vieira being shown a straight red card but manager Mikel Arteta, who blasted officials after the loss to Newcastle United a week earlier, gave the referees high marks. A goal in the 59th minute from defender Victor Lindelof earned United a 1-0 win over Luton and secure a second successive league victory. Idrissa Gueye scored four minutes from time to earn Everton a breathless win at Selhurst Park.

"We went to extra time, but the team kept on believing," said coach Jorge Vilda. "It should have been a penalty after all, but it still doesn't mean that Spain didn't win deservedly," said Dutch coach Andries Jonker. "Had we made it, we'd have been convinced to make it through the semi-finals and make it to the final." Fifteen players declared themselves unavailable for selection in September, saying events with the national team had impacted their emotional and physical health. The Spanish federation backed the coach but only six of the mutineers returned to play at the World Cup.

For years, this City team has dominated English football – winning four Premier League titles in the last five seasons – but it has failed to really stamp its authority in Europe. “I think that first half performance is one of the best I’ve ever seen,” former Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha told Sky Sports. The timing of it, in the Champions League semifinal, that felt like one of the biggest games ever at that stadium. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola hailed a special night. Only one English team, Manchester United, has ever achieved the historic feat, but you’d be brave to bet against Manchester City in its current form.
CNN —FC Barcelona scraped by Atlético Madrid 1-0 at the Camp Nou to extend its lead at the top of La Liga over eternal rival Real Madrid to 11 points. Ferrán Torres’ goal in the 44th minute made the difference, ensuring Atlético continued its 17-year winless drought – with 8 draws and 15 losses – at the Camp Nou. Antoine Griezmann was Atlético's main offensive threat, but he was thwarted by the crossbar and Marc-André ter Stegen twice. Just when Barça’s domination of possession in the first half seemed to be fruitless, the first goal materialized near the stroke of half-time. The win means Barcelona remains in firm control in the La Liga title race with eight matches remaining and an 11-point lead ahead of Real Madrid.
Doyle's late strike fires Sheffield United into FA Cup semis

SHEFFIELD, England, March 19 (Reuters) - Sheffield United came from behind twice to edge Blackburn Rovers 3-2 in an entertaining FA Cup quarter-final after Tommy Doyle's superb 91st minute strike on Sunday booked a Wembley trip. With the score at 2-2 in added time, Doyle fired a shot from 25 metres that arrowed into the top corner with keeper Aynsley Pears unable to palm it away despite getting a hand to it. Blackburn's Sam Gallagher then scored an own goal seven minutes later after Max Lowe's shot from range took a deflection off the striker's knee to nestle in the corner of the net. Gallagher made amends on the hour when he sprang the offside trap to put Sammie Szmodics through as the midfielder restored Blackburn's lead by firing low past keeper Wes Foderingham. Nearly 80% of distillates are used in freight transport, manufacturing and construction, so fuel consumption is closely geared to the manufacturing and freight cycle. Growth in both manufacturing activity and distillate consumption peaked in the first half of 2021 as the economy rebounded after the first wave of the pandemic. Distillate consumption also fell below prior-year levels in six of the nine months between April and December 2022 as demand dropped. Slower consumption created some scope to stabilise depleted distillate inventories towards the end of 2022. Notwithstanding the impact of poor weather, growth seems to have been decelerating slightly since November, as oil prices and drilling rates have fallen.
Switzerland, meanwhile, navigated a difficult group with victories against Cameroon and Serbia seeing them through to the knockout stages despite a loss to Brazil. The last time the two sides met was in the Nations League in June when Portugal dismantled Switzerland 4-0 in Lisbon. Switzerland celebrates defeating Serbia 3-2 and qualifying for the knockout stages. Like Portugal, Spain is entering its round of 16 match against Morocco immediately after a shock defeat to an Asian nation – a 2-1 loss to Japan – in the group stages. “We said we wanted to give everything we’ve got to get out of the group stages,” said Regragui, according to the Guardian.
"It was the longest six minutes of my life, but in the circle we were really positive," said Son, who will be playing in the World Cup knockout rounds for the first time in his career. Korea's win over the Portuguese carried echoes of their 2-0 victory over Germany in Russia four years ago, which eliminated the then-defending champions. The Koreans will next take on tournament favourites Brazil on Monday with Son praising the unity within Paulo Bento's squad. "We're really, really close. I'm really grateful to those who didn't play, they could be sad but they didn't show their disappointment.
However, the breakthrough never came and Uruguay exits the World Cup at the group stage for the first time since 2002. No love lostMake no mistake, this fixture was one of the biggest grudge matches at the Qatar World Cup. Then, seemingly in the blink of an eye, it was 2-0 and Ghana’s World Cup hopes were once again evaporating against Uruguay. The Black Stars did at least begin the second half with more energy, as Osman Bukari flashed a shot across the goal inside the opening 60 seconds. Luis Suárez made himself a villain in Ghana for his role in their epic clash at the 2010 World Cup.
'Green Book' actor Frank Vallelonga Jr. found dead in the Bronx

"Green Book" actor Frank Vallelonga Jr. was found dead in New York City, police said Thursday. The NYPD responded to a call early Monday morning just before 4 a.m. in the Bronx and found Vallelonga Jr. laying unconscious and unresponsive on the ground. Following the arrival of EMS to the location, the actor was pronounced dead on the scene. Vallelonga Jr. was the son of late actor Tony Lip, whose real name was Frank Vallelonga. Vallelonga Jr.’s brother, Nick Vallelonga, co-wrote the script and produced the film, which also won best original screenplay at the 91st Academy Awards.
In real terms, monthly average prices have been between the 76th and the 98th percentile for all months since the turn of the century. Chartbook: U.S. distillate suppliedMANUFACTURING SLOWSMost distillates are used in freight transportation, manufacturing, construction, farming, mining, and in oil and gas production. Distillate consumption is therefore highly sensitive to changes in the business cycle, especially the manufacturing and freight sectors. The slowdown in distillate consumption has been close to what would be expected based on the deceleration in manufacturing. Reduced distillate use would be consistent with an unusual increase in distillate fuel oil inventories reported over the last seven weeks in weekly surveys conducted by the EIA.
DOHA, Nov 20 (Reuters) - Denmark go into their opening World Cup game against a tricky Tunisia side on Tuesday in the unusual position of being among Europe's dark horses, in with an outside chance of winning the tournament if they can get everything right in Qatar. The key group game will be against France, a side they beat twice in the recent Nations League campaign. Eriksen's World Cup debut came in South Africa, but back then he was a teenager just breaking through in the senior ranks of the national team. At the 2018 World Cup they held England scoreless until Harry Kane scored in the 91st minute to give the English a narrow win. He's a tremendous football player," Hjulmand said, and now Tunisia have to find a way to stop him.
